Role Overview: We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Residential Support Worker to join the team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential home, working closely with them to ensure their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day care and support to children and young people in the home.
Build positive relationships and provide emotional support to children and young people.
Assist in the development and implementation of individual care & behaviour plans.
Promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children and young people.
Ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people at all times.
Encourage and support children and young people to participate in activities and community involvement.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the home.
Requirements:
Experience working with children and young people, preferably in a residential setting.
A willingness to work towards a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts.
A compassionate and patient nature, with a commitment to supporting vulnerable children and young people.
Full UK driving license.
