Role Overview: We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Residential Support Worker to join the team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential home, working closely with them to ensure their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day care and support to children and young people in the home.

• Build positive relationships and provide emotional support to children and young people.

• Assist in the development and implementation of individual care & behaviour plans.

• Promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children and young people.

• Ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people at all times.

• Encourage and support children and young people to participate in activities and community involvement.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.

• Work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the home.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children and young people, preferably in a residential setting.

• A willingness to work towards a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts.

• A compassionate and patient nature, with a commitment to supporting vulnerable children and young people.

• Full UK driving license.
